Participation in the Race Across America (RAAM)
is my yearlong unfulfilled wish. I'm certain that this year my wish will
come true. I won't only ride across America, I intend to finish the race
among the first three.

Why RAAM? It makes perfect sense. The question
has never been whether to participate or not, but when to participate.
When you marry, there is a lot of talk about »for better or for worse«.
I certainly won't miss the moment when Marko faces the hardest but also
the greatest challenge of his life. I want to be there to give him a hug
and support to go on.
He is a person easy to work with even in extreme conditions and I'm not
afraid of difficulties.This will be a special experience for Marko and
me and for the whole team, which suits him perfectly. It is a challenge
you cannot resist.
I want to race RAAM in the future. Before I do so, I want to know as much
as possible about this race. As an ultra cyclist (4 races with more than
1100 km and 3 24-hour-races) I can bring in my first hand ultra cycling
experience. I hope I can help Marko with this experience when the race
starts getting tough.
I want to share the emotional highs and lows of this adventure with a
great rider and a great team. I think it will be an experience that we
will remember for the rest of our lives.

I know how demanding discipline cycling is because I'm an enthusiastic
cyclist myself. In my younger years I also competed, but now cycling is
my hobby. I admire Marko for his strong will. I will participate in the
RAAM in order to do everything in my power to help him overcome this difficult
tryout.

I know how much this race means to Marko

to help as much as I can in the team, so that a small part of his dreams

I joined the team with pleasure. I'm sure that Marko is among the best ultra-distance cyclist in the world.

to help Marko, so that he can achieve his goal. I want him to win the
race and I want the world to know (via internet) where we are and how
