After 6 years of participating in Race around Slovenia in solo division and I believe it is time for some change. I will do this year's RAS as a part of 2-person team with one of my longtime friends Iztok Melansek. This decision was in fact made a pretty long time ago, but we kind of kept it secret so the competition wouldn't find out about the threat they are facing... ;)

The first plan of preparation for assault on victory at RAAM 2013 included the preparation race in Florida, the Sebring 24h Cycling race, which I had to cancel due to budget limitations.
I am looking for TIME STATION SPONSORS to help me with RAAM expenses. If you have no time to do RAAM, you can become involved with "buying" yourself a Time Station and helping me achieve my goal.
You can become a part of my Team with making a donation and picking for yourself a Time Station you want to sponsor. When I pass your TS, we will send you an e-mail letting you know where I am and how fast I am progressing.
The price of the Time Station is as follows:
- normal TS: 100EUR or 130$,
- Start, Finish and half-way (Pratt, Kansas): 500EUR or 650$.

Na prednovoletni rundi v soboto 29.12.2012 se nas je v Sežani zbralo nekaj preko 40 kolesarjev, od katerih se nas je 18 podalo na daljšo razdaljo (165km), ostali pa so se odločili za kratko (90km) ali srednjo (120km) razdaljo. Tu je skupinska fotografija s štarta:

A season without RAAM
Even without RAAM, I had a very challenging season – with a 100 mile World Record on the Road and the 24h TT World Championships as the major goals. I can say with confidence that my season was successful with only one second place and all the rest were victories.
